Step by Step

Step 1

Dashboard

Our team sees every order and every box office at a glance: a paid order the box office couldn’t book, or a schedule that stopped updating, shows up here first.

  • Orders that need a hand, counted at the top
  • Each box office’s catalogue checked every few minutes
  • Venues, events, films and plays in one catalogue

Step 2

Events and Sessions

Your performances, films and events in one schedule, each with its hall and prices.

  • Search by title, site, what’s showing and days
  • Prices by zone or ticket type on every session
  • Times local to each site

Step 3

Hall and Seat Map

Draw your hall as it looks: sections, rows, seats, wheelchair places and price zones. Buyers pick their seats on the same plan.

  • Sections, rows and seats drawn on a plan
  • Price zones and wheelchair places
  • Edit as text, with undo and redo

Step 4

Prices and Seats

A price for each zone, what’s sold and held at a glance, and seats taken off sale with a click.

  • A price for each zone of a performance
  • Free, sold, held and blocked seats on one map
  • Block and unblock seats in a click

Step 5

Promo Codes

Promo codes that say who pays for the discount, you or Passap, with the uses and the discount given by each payer.

  • Paid by you or by Passap
  • Limits on uses and dates
  • Tickets keep their official price; the discount is its own line

Step 6

Orders

Each order shows the official price, the discount and who paid for it, the box office’s booking and a barcode per ticket.

  • Official price, discount and total
  • The box office’s hold and booking
  • A barcode and a Wallet pass for each ticket
Screenshot: Refunds

Step 7

Refunds

A refund cancels the tickets at the box office first, then pays the buyer back, and their Wallet passes stop working.

  • Tickets cancelled at the box office first
  • The buyer paid back
  • Wallet passes voided

Step 8

Gift Cards

Gift cards bring people who already have money to spend on tickets. The full code is never shown, not even in the admin.

  • Amount, buyer and expiry date
  • A log of every change to the balance
  • Only the code’s last characters shown

Step 9

The Box Office

The venue’s box office in one place: sites and halls, events, films and plays, the next two weeks of performances and confirmed orders.

  • Sites, halls, attractions and events
  • Performances in the next 14 days
  • The connection to Passap and its status

Step 10

Your Bookings

What Passap booked, by performance, with totals. Buyers’ personal details stay with Passap; you get the bookings and barcodes.

  • Every order Passap booked, newest first
  • Totals and ticket counts per order
  • Find an order by its reference or booking id

How the Money Works

Buyers pay your official price. Depending on the venue, Passap takes a commission or buyers pay a service fee.

Events and Theatres

A commission of 7% of each ticket sold, agreed with you before we start. Buyers pay your official price.

Cinemas

No commission. You pay only the payment network’s fee on each sale (the cost of processing card and Apple Pay payments).

Where a venue pays no commission, buyers pay a small service fee per paid ticket. It’s included in every price they see and shown again before they pay.
