What’s on at Le Grand Rex in Paris: sessions, halls and prices. 1 Bd Poissonnière Le Grand Rex is the largest cinema hall in Paris and in Europe, with 2,650 red leather seats and twinkling stars on the ceiling. It stands on the Grands Boulevards in the 2nd arrondissement of the French capital, at 1 boulevard Poissonnière, and was built in 1932 in the Art Deco style. It is also used as a concert hall, and offers a 50-minute interactive attraction, Les Étoiles du Rex, that lets visitors look behind the scenes into the world of special effects, sound effects, sets and film shooting.
