Draft, Arsen to confirm

Terms of Use

The terms for using the Passap app and passap.co.uk and for buying tickets with them. Passap is in testing and these terms are a draft. Last updated 6 November 2026.

Who we are

Passap is operated by [TO FILL: company legal name], [TO FILL: registered address], registration number [TO FILL: registration number] (“Passap”, “we”). Questions: [email protected].

What Passap does

Passap sells tickets to museums, attractions, theatres, cinemas, events and city passes as a reseller for the venue or organiser (the “venue”). The venue provides the visit, performance, screening or event and is responsible for it. The venue’s ticket system issues each ticket and its barcode; Passap doesn’t own or issue tickets.

The venue’s own conditions of entry apply (for example opening times, age limits, latecomers and what you can bring). Check them with the venue.

Prices and fees

You pay the venue’s official price. Where a venue doesn’t pay us a commission, a fixed service fee is added for each paid ticket. Every price we show includes it, and checkout shows it again as its own line before you pay. Prices are in the venue’s currency and can change until you buy: the total shown when you pay is the one you’re charged.

Buying tickets

Choose the date, time and tickets (or seats). An order can have up to 10 tickets. The venue holds your places for 15 minutes while you pay; if you don’t pay in time, they go back on sale and nothing is charged.

You pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number. While Passap is in testing, payments run in test mode and no real money is taken.

After you pay, we ask the venue to confirm your order. Your purchase is complete when the venue confirms it and your tickets appear in the order. If the venue can’t confirm, you get your money back automatically (see the Refund Policy).

Your tickets

Tickets are electronic. How and when they reach you is in the Delivery Terms. Where the venue asks for it, a ticket carries the holder’s name.

You can send tickets to the people in your group by link or give them to friends in the app. Anyone with a link can open its tickets, so send it only to them; you can switch a link off at any time.

Refunds and cancellations

Whether a ticket can be refunded is decided by the venue, per ticket type. When we refund automatically, and how to ask for a refund, is in the Refund Policy.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple Account. Keep your devices secure: anyone using your signed-in device can see your tickets. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile) or at passap.co.uk/app/account; orders you’ve already bought are kept, no longer linked to you, as the law requires us to keep sales records.

How we use your data is in the Privacy Policy.

Gift cards

You can buy a Passap gift card in the app or at passap.co.uk and send it as a link and a code. The person who gets it adds it to the gift card balance of their Passap account, which needs signing in. A card can be added once, by one account.

The balance pays for tickets, all of an order or part of it, in the card’s currency; you pay the rest with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. Your balance and when it expires are shown in your account. The balance is spent from the card that expires first.

A gift card must be added and its balance spent within 3 years of the day it was bought. The date is on the card and in your account. What’s left after that date expires.

Gift cards and the balance can’t be exchanged for cash, paid out or moved to another account.

If an order paid partly or fully with the balance is refunded, the balance part goes back to your balance at once, on the same cards with their own expiry dates, and the rest goes back to the card you paid with. A card that has expired or been voided by then gets nothing back.

We can void a gift card, for example one bought by fraud or by mistake. A voided card can’t be added, and whatever is left of it leaves the balance. If the buyer should get their money back, we refund it to the card they paid with.

Promo codes

A promo code gives a discount on an order. You can use one code per order. It comes off the tickets only, never the service fee, and checkout shows it as its own line.

Each code has its own conditions, such as dates, the venues or events it covers, a minimum order and how many times it can be used. Our server checks the code when you place the order and decides whether it applies; what checkout shows when you pay is what counts.

If the order is refunded in full, the code’s use is given back and you can use it again while it’s still valid. A refund returns what you actually paid, after the discount.

Smart Plan

Smart Plan uses AI to suggest sessions that are on sale. Suggestions can be wrong or out of date: check the date, time, place and price before you buy. What checkout shows is what you buy.

Passap Premium

Premium is an App Store subscription. Apple takes the payment, and Apple’s terms apply to renewals, cancellation and refunds of the subscription.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for selling you the tickets you choose, at the price shown, and for delivering them. The venue is responsible for the event itself. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer law.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by [TO FILL: governing law and courts]. When they change, we update this page and its date; the terms in force when you buy apply to that order.
